Britnie, Lonestar, and Destiny

Britnie and her boyfriend, Dustin, have their priorities straight. While much of the rest of the human race was plundering the malls on Black Friday in search of one more bargain, they were in the woods hunting.

About 45 minutes before dark, a lone buck stepped out into the clearing. While he wasn’t a huge specimen, he was large enough that Dustin thought it would be more than Britnie could handle. Grabbing the .243 cal rifle, he squeezed the trigger only to hear the sickening “click” of a misfire, which sent the deer scurrying to safety. They decided to name him Lonestar.

The next afternoon Dustin went back alone, but Lonestar was nowhere to be seen. On November 27, the couple returned and, right on cue just before dark, he stepped out again. This time Britnie refused to surrender the rifle and she dropped her first buck right in his tracks. Congratulations, Britnie!
